BioI am from Reno, Nevada, and I have come to sunny California for school. I have to admit that I miss the sound of slot machines and the haze of a smoke filled room. I’m outspoken but not outgoing, so I’m not sure if that makes me shy or not. I drink too much tea and read more than necessary. My friends often laugh and stare strangely at me because I will randomly blurt out some fact about the current news, astronomy or history. I have been told that I'm quite blunt and sometimes a little too honest and cynical, but I think that is why my friends often come to me for advice. Plus, I wouldn't want it any other way. It has taken a lot for me to get where I am today, both in school and as a person, so I'm pretty happy with myself and my life. I'm just trying to hold onto what happiness I have been lucky enough to get. I’m currently studying history (my first love was astronomy, but I hate math) here at the University of Redlands. I’m putting myself through school, so I work a lot. I used to think that I wanted to go to law school, but I’m coming to the point where I’m not sure. All I know is I can't get enough of history and this university. If I had it my way, I would sit around all day drinking tea while reading and debating history and politics, but then I would starve to death.
